Description
San Martín de los Andes via 7 Lakes
Path where seven lakes meet in the mountainous environment. We take National Route 40 to the east, skirting the eastern end of Lake Nahuel Huapi, until we reach the Limay River, which is the natural boundary between the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén. Then, we reach Villa La Angostura, where we make a 30-minute technical stop. From here, we begin the journey along the 7 Lakes Route, passing through sectors of Nahuel Huapi National Park and Lanín National Park, admiring the lakes Espejo, Correntoso, Escondido, Villarino, Falkner, Machónico and Lácar. On the shores of the latter is the town of San Martín de los Andes. In the town, we will have approximately 2 hours to have lunch and explore the center or the shore. The return will be made in reverse, contemplating the sunset over the 7 Lakes Route.
