Cafayate

Itinerary: It begins in the Lerma Valley, crossing tobacco fields and colonial villages like Alemania. The Quebrada del Río Las Conchas presents curious formations eroded by wind and water, such as sand dunes, El Sapo, the Obelisk, the Devil’s Throat, the castles, and the amphitheater. Arrival in Cafayate via National Route 68, internationally known for its vineyards, especially the Torrontés grape, which can be tasted on visits to artisanal or industrial wineries. Return to Salta via the same route, with different sunlight changing the landscape in the gorge.
